Recycled Rides–We’re Still Fixed on Restoring Lives

At Caliber Collision, our goal is to help restore the rhythm of your life any way we can. Whether it’s as simple as buffing out a fender bender blemish, or more complicated, like replacing half a car, we strive to make the process go as smoothly and swimmingly as possible. Because being without a car for a few days can really throw a wrench in your everyday life. But what about those who have gone without a car for a few months, or even a few years? That’s where we come in.

Since 2012, our Recycled Rides program has been changing the road ahead for some very deserving people. And with more than 30 giftings planned for 2016, this year promises to be no different. Here’s how it works: first, we find damaged or otherwise worse for the wear vehicles. Then, in working with paint suppliers and parts vendors, plus some donated time from our very generous (and very talented) Caliber employees, we are able to return those vehicles to their previous glory and get them road ready. After that is where you come in.

We’ve partnered with State Farm to host two upcoming events, and we’d love to see you show your support as we hand over the keys to those in need. Please join us on the following dates:

MAY 3 — FRESNO, CA
Donation:2014 Chevrolet Impala
Where: 125 E. Auto Center Dr., Fresno, CA 93710

MAY 5 — CARY-MAYNARD, NORTH CAROLINA
Donation: 2010 Ford F-150
Where: 1661 NW Maynard Rd., Cary, NC 27513

Both events will be publicly represented by the State Farm Arson Dog Program in support of National Arson Awareness Week. The Arson Dog Program strives to sniff out arson fraud and increase community awareness of the problem through the help of accelerant detection canines. Since 1993, the State Farm Arson Dog Program has put more than 350 dogs to work and made a tremendous difference in diminishing the cost and occurrence of this crime. We are proud to partner with them; any opportunity we have to keep people safe, and it’s full speed ahead for Caliber.

We’re very proud of what Recycled Rides has done so far, but we’re even more excited about what it can continue to do. With your help, we know there’s no limit to the number of people’s lives to which we can restore rhythm.
